Delegation of Turkish company Coca-Cola meets with Prime Minister Imran Khan.


ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Pakistan Imran Khan encouraged Coca-Cola Turkey, to invest in Pakistan and appreciated the company's proposed investment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Imran Khan kept this proposal before the Coca-Cola Turkey, in a meeting with a delegation of Coca Cola İçecek-Anadolu Group from Turkey, which visited Pakistan to meet H. E. Prime Minister Imran Khan to discuss investments in Pakistan.

PM Imran Khan received the delegation comprising on General Manager Coca-Cola Achiech Pakistan Ahmet Karsad Artan, Director Coca-Cola Pakistan and Corporate Affairs Manager along with Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Ehsan Mustafa Yerdkal.

The delegation briefed the Prime Minister on the Coca-Cola Company's investment in Pakistan and plans to further expand this investment in the future.

The delegation briefed the Prime Minister about their upcoming beverage plant project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and said that the foundation stone of this project would be laid soon.
The new plant will create direct and indirect employment opportunities for the local population, create profitable opportunities for sub-industries and increase the revenue of the Government of Pakistan.

The delegation also presented to the Prime Minister a report on the socio-economic impact of Coca-Cola's investment in Pakistan and cordially thanked the Prime Minister for facilitating the investment of the company by the Government of Pakistan.

Noting the bright investment prospects for international investors in Pakistan, the Prime Minister said that thanks to the investor-friendly policies of the present government, the confidence of international investment companies in investing in Pakistan has been restored.
